Looking back on the screen showdown of the "two great singers" in the music industry from "Undercover Superstar"

The new film, directed by Gu Dezhao and starring Eason Chan and Li Ronghao, will be officially released on January 12. For many viewers, this is undoubtedly a surprise collaboration, because this is the first collaboration between "God of Songs" Eason Chan and "King of Songs" Li Ronghao. Originally, the audience had already heard ear oil when listening to their songs, and this time they have to act together, which can be called welfare!

In fact, it is by no means the first time in our memory that people in the music industry have collaborated on movies at the level of singers. Especially since the 1980s, such works have been "countless" and have frequently produced classics. So before looking forward to the debut of Eason Chan and Li Ronghao, two "singers", we might as well take a look at how many music superstars have collaborated on the screen along the way.

The 1980s: a hundred flowers bloom

In the peak era of the Hong Kong music scene, whether it was the trend of "Tan Zhang’s competition for hegemony", or the far-reaching "Hong Kong Song God", as well as the popular "Song Yin" and "Idol Sect", as long as the film was made, it was often a box office guarantee + topic responsibility, and it was also a strength to tell the audience that the real "Wang Jianwang" should sing and shadow!

1. Xu Guanjie vs Leslie Cheung

"New Best Partner" & "Flower Field Wedding"

When it comes to the collaboration between "Song God" and "Brother", the two not only have a classic hit song like "Silence is Gold" in the music world, but also made two appearances in the film industry during the Spring Festival. In 1989’s "New Best Partner", the two played two generations of "Best Partner" members, who changed from "opponent" to "friend" due to a terracotta warrior theft case, and finally fought against the big boss together. The film is not only Xu Guanjie’s first starring work after recovering from mountain sickness, but also Zhang Guorong’s last starring work before quitting the music world. Therefore, in addition to showing their skills, the two also sang the theme song "I Have Never Been Surprised", which is of great significance.

Four years later (1993), Xu Guanjie completed his farewell concert in the music world, and retired with honor after filming the last two films with Huang Baiming; at the same time, Leslie Cheung officially signed with Huang Baiming’s newly established "Oriental Film Company", which promoted the cooperation of another New Year’s movie "Flower Field Wedding". In the film, the two played "Little Bawang Zhou Tong" and "Magic Gao Baifei" respectively, and tried their skills as soon as they appeared. Later, Xu Guanjie also "kissed" Zhang Guorong, which can be said to be another classic cooperation since the two "honorably retired from Huixing", showing the tacit understanding and charm of "Wang Jianwang"!

2. Alan Tam vs Andy Lau

"Jianghu Love" & "Dragon Family" & "Supreme" & "Rich Corps" & "Supreme Plan Champion" & "Shocking 12 Hours"

One was the most popular male singer in the Hong Kong music scene in the 1980s, and the other was the most representative Tianwang in the Hong Kong music scene in the 1990s. Alan Tam and Andy Lau’s cooperation began as early as 1987, thanks to the fact that both of them were artists under the "Arts Group" (founded by Alan Tam’s relative Cheung Kwok-zhong) at that time. To paraphrase the gossip, when Andy Lau was banned by TVB, he tried to sell tickets to Alan Tam’s concert. Tan once "persuaded" Andy Lau to concentrate on being an actor and not to be a singer: "You are not so good at singing… unless you work very hard." Andy’s reply was: "You believe me, I will definitely do it, I will work very hard." Finally, the dream of Tianwang was realized.

"The Supreme Champion"

Going back to the movies, "Principal" and "Andy" have collaborated on 6 or 7 films, playing friends who share the same hardships and die together: sometimes the principal saves Andy ("Jianghu Love"), sometimes Andy "dies" for the principal ("Supreme"), sometimes they show their fists together ("Dragon Family", "Rich Corps"), sometimes they win and lose together at the card table ("Supreme Count Champion"), and sometimes they even face a hail of bullets overseas ("Shocking 12 Hours"), which can be described as colorful.

The Supreme.

Moreover, what these films have in common is that the box office is very good. In 1989, "Supreme" ranked fifth among the top ten best-selling films in Hong Kong that year (23 million Hong Kong dollars), and brought about the "gambling film" boom in the film industry – in other words, because of the success of the film, the later "God of Gamblers", so this pair of "Wang Jianwang" also gave birth to classics.

"The Rich Corps"

By the way, in 1990, the two were also selected as two of the five male stars of "Hong Kong’s top ten beautiful people" (the other three were Chow Yun-fat, Cheung Guorong and Chan Baiqiang). Just by looking at the appearance, you can know what is called Song Ying Yan Sanqi.

"Jianghu Love"

3. Alan Tam VS Lin Zixiang

Gong Xi Fa Cai.

Many people may not have imagined that the first film collaboration between "The King of Singers" and "Ge Yin" in the Hong Kong music industry was also a comedy released during the Spring Festival, and with the fame of the two at that time, this "Gong Xi Fa Cai" also entered the 1985 Hong Kong Top Ten Movies.

Even if they only talk about the music world, the two have no shortage of classic collaborations, such as co-hosting TV shows in the late 1970s, filming MV for Teresa Teng in the early 1980s, and singing a scene of "Ten Ten Inch" on the top ten hit songs in 1985, which is one of the classic scenes in the history of Hong Kong pop music!

In this "Gong Xi Fa Cai", the two play "Tianwai Cai Xian" and "unscrupulous profiteer" respectively, but the principal "tricked" Ah Lam – let him sing a big play and rob a bank, and Ah Lam was sent to a neurological hospital, which made people laugh. So far, the two have only collaborated on this drama, which is really not enjoyable enough for the audience.

4. Andy Lau VS Lin Zixiang

"The Best Boyfriend"

When it comes to Lin Zixiang’s most promising newcomer in the 1980s, Andy Lau bears the brunt, and can even be said to be his noble person. At the beginning of Andy’s debut, he was supported by Lin Zixiang, especially during the performance of Andy’s debut novel "Joining the Sea", Lin Zixiang often sang with him on the spot and encouraged him to develop into a singer. Seven years after "Joining the Sea", when the two collaborated on "Best Boyfriend", Andy was already a professional singer with several albums, which shows Lin Zixiang’s precise vision.

5. Leslie Cheung VS Chen Baiqiang

"Cheers" & "Unemployed" & "Merry Christmas"

In the Hong Kong music scene in the 1980s, Chan Pak-keung could be said to be the first true "idol singer", and from 1981 to 1983, he became the most popular male singer in Hong Kong, surpassing Xu Guanjie, Tam Elin, Lin Zixiang, etc. Even 25 years after his death, his "I Just Like You" and "What Do I Want in Life" are still popular Cantonese songs sung in the streets. And one of his best friends at the beginning of his debut was of course "brother" Cheung Kwok Wing. On the one hand, the two were artists under the "Gold Manager" Tam Kwok-kee at that time. On the other hand, the two collaborated on films such as "Cheers" and "Unemployed". On the other hand, they were also very popular. The former box office was closer to 3 million Hong Kong dollars, breaking the box office record of Hong Kong-made youth films.

In these two works, the two superstars who were in the era of "Little Fresh Meat" played each other’s classmates, "Applause" had an extra layer of "opponent" relationship (singing in the music competition), and Leslie Cheung’s "rebellion" and Chen Baiqiang’s "well-behaved" characters were also one of the most classic memories of Hong Kong audiences at that time. But perhaps "drama is like life". After filming "Unemployed Students", both of them refused to cooperate with each other in films, just like "A Bao" and "Young Master" in the film parted ways.

In 1984, the two once again "cooperation" "Merry Christmas", the film box office as high as 25 million Hong Kong dollars, not only was the year’s top ten hit film runner-up, so far is still the Hong Kong ten highest-viewed film seventh (about 2.31 million people), if on time under the Hong Kong average ticket price, the box office has exceeded 100 million Hong Kong dollars! But according to director Gao Zhisen recall, the two completely do not want to see each other in the shooting scene, even the last scene to use a double (although the brother appeared back)! But at the same time, the two people do not mind "Wang Jianwang" in the music industry, 1985 brother first concert, Chen Baiqiang system update as a guest and chorus "Cheers", it can be seen that the feelings are still there.

Now that the two kings of the music world have passed away, it is even more heartening to revisit the classic movies.

6. Leslie Cheung VS Andy Lau

"The True Story of Ah Fei" & "New Shanghai Beach"

If the Hong Kong entertainment industry is selected as "the best-looking male star in history", Leslie Cheung and Andy Lau will definitely be selected. Since they are not from the same era, they have little intersection in the music industry. However, when Andy Tsai’s music industry rose in 1990, the two still achieved their first "Wang Jianwang" with a "The True Story of Ah Fei". Watching the opposite play of the two is a typical portrayal of "acting skills + face value".

Six years later, the two of them collaborated on "New Shanghai Beach" again, and the two legendary images of "Xu Wenqiang" and "Ding Li" were also not incompatible. Therefore, although brother and Andy did not cooperate much, they finally got along well every time.

7. Leslie Cheung vs Jacky Cheung

The True Story of Ah Fei & Eastern Heretic and Western Poison

As early as the mid-1980s, although Jacky Cheung did not reach the level of "song god", he was already recognized as a "rising star" in the music industry. Later, he collaborated with his brother’s former manager Chen Shufen, which is also a portrayal of the fate of the two in the entertainment industry.

In the 1980s, although his brother and Jacky Cheung had an appointment to cooperate, they had different "levels" and did not go deep. In 1990, his brother quit the music scene, and the two finally "saw the king" in "The True Story of Ah Fei", but in terms of aura, Jacky Cheung was still a "little brother" in front of his brother at that time.

Four years later, the two collaborated on "Eastern Heretic Western Poison", which is summarized in one sentence: So you are Ouyang Feng and Hong Qigong like this! And in this play, my brother also became Jacky Cheung’s "agent".

The 1990s: The Four Heavenly Kings

If the 1980s was the peak of Hong Kong pop music, then the 1990s was the peak of entertainment superstars. During those 10 years, the legendary "Four Heavenly Kings" ruled the entire music scene, and the "Most Popular Male Singer" must have been produced among the four. The top ten Chinese/song hits accounted for half or even two-thirds, and the "Golden Melody Award" and "Sales Champion" could not escape their palms. In addition, they had countless fans on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and three places. Today, no one can replicate this glory that can rise to the level of "cultural influence"!

Of course, Hong Kong’s entertainment industry is characterized by "singing and acting". Naturally, the Four Heavenly Kings have been filming a lot (Andy Lau is particularly productive), and audiences have been expecting the four to co-star in a film, but it has not really been realized so far ("The Banquet of the Rich" is not included). So how many times have the four played opposite each other?

1. Andy Lau vs Jacky Cheung

"Mong Kok Carmen" & "Super School Fighter" & "Jianghu" &

Among the Four Heavenly Kings, Andy Lau and Jacky Cheung’s film collaboration lasted from the 1980s to 2016, which can be described as a "long love". Although in the music industry, the two "Wang can’t see the king" (Jacky Cheung admits that there is a "competitive mentality" with Andy Lau, and it is not common for the two to perform alone in the 1990s, and they will join the other two heavenly kings), the two often play "good brothers" in the film. The first is "Mong Kok Carmen", which is not only Wong Kar-wai’s directorial debut, but also the acting skills of the two heavenly kings are more recognized. Jacky Cheung also won the Academy Award for "Best Supporting Actor", which is still one of the masterpieces of the two’s film careers today.

In the 1990s "Super School Overlord", the two even performed "eating shoes" and "eating the refrigerator" stunts!

In 2004’s "Jianghu", the two continued the "boss" and "younger brother" images of "Carmen Mong Kok", and their aura was equal.

In 2016’s "Macao 3", although the two of them played very little (only playing table tennis and taking a group photo), it was enough to arouse the audience’s feelings for the "Four Heavenly Kings". Now it seems that Andy Lau and Jacky Cheung should belong to the "acting responsibility" of the "Four Heavenly Kings".

2. Andy Lau VS Guo Fucheng

"Nine One Condor Heroes" & "five hundred million Inspector Lei Luo Biography 2: Father and Son Feud" & "Machine Boy True and False Veyron" &

In contrast, the films that Andy worked with Chengcheng are more in line with the concept of "face value responsibility". In 1991, Andy established the "Sky Screen Film Company" and started filming the "September 1st Condor Heroes". At that time, Guo Fucheng was still not popular in Hong Kong, but Andy admired him very much, so he invited him to play the villain "Silver Fox" in the film. As a result, the two handsome guys had a lot of sparks. In addition to the box office hit, Chengcheng also nominated for the "Best Supporting Actor" at the Academy Awards, which can be described as a win-win situation.

One of the most impressive rivalry scenes is the "love affair" between the two heavenly kings.

In "five hundred million Inspector Leiluo Biography 2: Father and Son Feud", the two finally turned "enemy" into "pro", playing a father and son who went from "confrontation" to "understanding". This is the only time the two have performed a gunfight scene together so far. Of course, whether we let Chengcheng play Andy’s "son" or Andy plays "old man" in front of Chengcheng, maybe we will never see it again.

In 1992, Andy’s "Tianmu" company produced another "The True and False Dragon of the Machine Boy" and played the "retarded" and "genius" gang boss, and Chengcheng played his bodyguard. In this film, Chengcheng rarely appeared without the classic "Guo Fucheng Head" look. Instead, he used hair wax to comb into the "back head", but he was still equally handsome. After the cooperation of the three plays, Chengcheng’s character setting is relatively "cool" and even "angry youth", which is in sharp contrast to Andy’s comedy performances in "The Nine-Day Condor Heroes" and "The True and False Dragon of the Machine Boy".

Later, Chengcheng became one of the "Four Heavenly Kings", and the film cooperation with Andy was suspended. Of course, there were many performances in the music world at that time (Chengcheng was also a guest at Andy’s concert in 1994). It was not until 2012 that the two people jointly starred in "Chills", which "echoed" 19 years ago (1993) "Super School Overlord". The former Chengcheng starred in a cameo of Andy and the latter played a cameo of Chengcheng. But at this time, the roles played by the two who have become film giants are not what they used to be: a deputy commissioner of police, a director of security, and a powerful aura.

3. Andy Lau PK Dawn

"Dragons" & "Infernal Affairs 3: Ultimate Infernal"

Among the four heavenly kings, Andy Lau and Guo Fucheng may be "the king can’t see the king" because of their titles, but their feelings should have no impact. Although they have a "competitive" mentality with Jacky Cheung, they are not antagonistic in their relationship. But facing Dawn, they became recognized as "old enemies in the music world" at that time. Not only was PK powerful in the awards, but there were also reports of "disputes" and "fights" between the two factions of fans, so the two rarely appeared at the same time without the other two heavenly kings. It was not until 2010 that Andy’s concert, when Dawn appeared as a guest, cried and said that "after walking all the way, I realized that everyone was actually friends", and the public opinion really regarded it as "eliminating enmity".

In the 1990s, the two of them only co-starred in one "Dragon Teng Four Seas", but there were only two opposite scenes, which added up to less than 5 minutes. It can be seen that "cooperation" is quite taboo.

It was not until 10 years later that the two really had a rival play in "Infernal Affairs 3: The Ultimate Infernal". In fact, the conflict between Liu Jianming and Yang Jinrong was also one of the main lines of the third film, which was heavier than the one with Chen Yongren, and both the performance and the gimmick fully satisfied the audience. However, the gossip behind it was still boiling – it was rumored that Liming learned that Andy Lau’s salary was higher than his own, and he was so angry that he refused to take the role for a while. It can be seen that as long as the two cooperate, there will be turmoil, and it is better to act together less.

4. Jacky Cheung vs Dawn

"The Moon Shines on the East" & "Monster Beast City"

Although Liming minds co-starring with Andy Lau in a movie, he does not mind co-starring with Jacky Cheung. The first is that both of them are artists under "Polygold"; the second two have different routes (Jacky Cheung plays the main song, and Liming highlights the "Little Fresh Meat" attribute), so it will not be embarrassing or embarrassing to play opposite scenes.

But it was no coincidence that Andy Lau and Guo Fucheng had to "fight" for the first time in a rival play, and Jacky Cheung and Liming were no exception: for the first time, they collaborated on "The Moon Shines on the East of Jiandong" (in 1992, there was no "Four Heavenly Kings" at that time, but Jacky Cheung and Liming had already called Liu Dehua the "Three Musketeers"). In the climax scene, the two fisted and splashed with blood, and the purpose was only for one woman (Guan Zhilin). Speaking of which, this is the only time in the film where the Four Heavenly Kings cooperate with each other to fight for "love".

Of course, in terms of acting skills, Jacky Cheung’s performance in the film is still better than Dawn’s, especially the "prince" who has gone mad at the end to fulfill his lover and rival in love and commit suicide in the sea. It can be regarded as the most tragic scene in the film where the four heavenly kings cooperate with each other.

In the second "Monster Beast City", the two "turn enemies into friends" and play the colleagues of the SWAT team who capture monsters. But this time it is Tsui Hark who collaborates with them, so the friendship between the two in the film is diluted by each other’s love scenes with Li Jiaxin and Li Ruotong. So after watching the movie, we can remember that the two "Li Meimei" are very charming, but we don’t quite remember the spark of the rival scenes of the two heavenly kings. Maybe they both appeared in science fiction films as "Wenqing", which is a bit impressive, right?

Easter Egg: Andy Lau VS Jacky Cheung VS Guo Fucheng: "Super School Overlord"

1993 was the year when the "Four Heavenly Kings" were the most popular, and both competition and even grudges officially broke out in this year, so it was a fantasy that the four of them could cooperate in a movie! But Wang Jing still tried his best to pull three of the Heavenly Kings (although Guo Fucheng was only willing to make cameos) and became the biggest gimmick of the play. As long as they could stand together, the audience would watch it. Therefore, "Super School Overlord" also took more than 17 million at the box office as a bad movie, which is quite rare.

Of course, seeing this scene, many viewers will still consciously make up Ren Dahua’s "brain" as Dawn, and this drama has become the only "opponent drama" between Jacky Cheung and Guo Fucheng so far.

New Century: Unique

After the "Four Heavenly Kings" ended, the first "Heavenly Kings" to become popular in the Hong Kong music scene were undoubtedly Nicholas Tse and Eason Chan. Nicholas Tse became red to purple around 2000, such as "Love Because of Love", "Must Go", "Thank You for Your Love 1999" and other golden songs, which became the most classic memories of young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait; Eason Chan gradually rose after 2001. "Ten Years" and "Next Year Today" became the golden songs of "Bad Street" in both the mainland and Hong Kong, and they are still well-deserved superstars today. In short, during the peak period of this "girlfriends", their music influence can be described as "one ride on the dust"!

Of course, they have also cooperated with the heavenly kings in the film industry to see who they are.

1. Nicholas Tse VS Xu Guanjie

"The Big Winner."

This is the last film that Xu Guanjie has starred in so far. Although it is not a match for the protagonist Nicholas Tse, it is a collaboration that spans 30 years of Hong Kong pop music. What’s more, one is still retiring, and the other is at the peak, which is another level of "Wang Jianwang".

2. Nicholas Tse VS Wu Bai

"Countercurrent."

Since they are both good at playing rock and roll, Nicholas Tse and Wu Bai must be very compatible both inside and outside the play. Of course, the first cooperation also needs to be "fierce", so there is this "Downstream". The two in the film are not only very cool in appearance, but also quite good in skills. Coupled with a good reputation, on the one hand, more people have invited Wu Bai to act, and on the other hand, Nicholas Tse has further opened up his style and market as an "action actor".

3. Nicholas Tse VS Andy Lau

The New Shaolin Temple.

In 2011, Nicholas Tse collaborated with Andy Lau for the first time in "New Shaolin Temple", even if he was willing to play the villain, but in the end the film also got him nominated for the Academy Award for "Best Supporting Actor". As the king of two generations, Andy Tse made more audiences know him by inviting Nicholas Tse as a concert guest, so Nicholas Tse has always been grateful to Andy, and this time "Wang Jianwang" also showed their acting skills.

4. Nicholas Tse VS Jay Chou

"The War Against Us"

In the new century, the two kings of Hong Kong and Taiwan "saw the king" for the first time, just like the cooperation between Nicholas Tse and Wu Bai in "Downstream", they must be "fierce" to attract the audience, not to mention that the two are such "unique" superstars, how can they not attract the audience’s attention?

In this collaboration, the two followed the classic "Brothers + Two Heroes" model of Hong Kong films, from Malaysia to helicopters and then to the sea ship. How popular can they be? Even if they don’t talk about their acting skills, they are full of gimmicks.

5. Eason Chan VS Guo Fucheng

"Charge"

In fact, Eason Chan cooperated with the king of music earlier than Nicholas Tse, and the first time was this "Charge". The two generations of kings co-starred in the duo, both gunfight and funny, with their own points of view. More importantly, through participating in different types of works, Eason Chan allowed more audiences to see his malleability in performance.

6. Eason Chan vs Andy Lau

"Brothers of Life and Death"

The former "Wireless Five Tigers" could not make up for Tony Leung, but with Eason Chan, the king of heaven, he did not lose. Although Eason Chan’s acting skills are still young in front of the other four tigers, he is also better at never having stage fright when performing such a serious police and bandit theme, and he has handled the role well, which shows that he is an actor himself. And the film is also very addictive to coreference with Andy Wai pistol, and the theme song "Brothers" co-written by the two (composed by Eason Chan and written by Andy Lau) is equally classic.

7. Eason Chan vs Lin Zixiang

"Wild Dog"

As a "hidden song", Lin Zixiang, who has faded out of the film industry after the new century, has also worked with Eason Chan. In fact, since Eason Chan’s debut, Lin Zixiang has been very optimistic about him. In addition to singing "Ten Inch" with him in concerts, he has also designated him to cover his classic song "Digital Life", which shows the fate of the two generations of "Heavenly Kings". The two are rare to play "opponents", and this time they have also done their homework. This film has also become another masterpiece of director Guo Zijian.

So over the past 30 years, there have been countless examples of the two great singers in the music industry "Wang Jianwang" in movies, and from the perspective of film standards, at least most of them have been regarded as classics by the audience. It can be seen that although they are singers, their acting is also full of spark. With this alone, how can you not look forward to "Undercover Superstar"?

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth CPC Central Committee and the Central Economic Work Conference, adhere to the people-centered development idea, promote common prosperity in high-quality development, promote social fairness and justice, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, the China Consumers Association has determined "2020-2021" on the basis of cases submitted by local consumer associations and recommendations by relevant experts.Ten typical cases of annual consumer association organization maintaining consumer fairness. "

In 2020-2021, the top ten typical cases of consumer justice organized by Consumers Association covered the current hot issues of consumer rights protection, including the inability to shut down the startup advertisement of smart TV, the compulsory tying of gas insurance by gas companies, the difficulty of refunding the loan due to the low-cost drainage of photo studios, the difficulty of stopping the business of training institutions without authorization, the charging of tolls for car maintenance parts, the tattoo of minors without the consent of guardians, the delay of refund due to force majeure by foreign airlines, and the difficulty of making an appointment for pre-sale foot bath bags.

Advertisements published in the form of pop-ups on Internet pages should be marked with a closing sign to ensure one-click closure. Case 2: Compulsory tying gas insurance case of gas company

[Brief introduction of the case]

On March 31, 2021, Mr. Xia, a consumer in Yunmeng County, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, complained that when he applied for natural gas installation, the staff of the gas company forced consumers to buy gas insurance 300 yuan first, otherwise they would not install gas equipment. After Mr. Xia was forced to pay the fee, the gas company did not issue an invoice or receipt. After receiving the complaint, Yunmeng Consumer Council interviewed the gas company and pointed out that it is its due obligation to install natural gas equipment. Whether to buy gas insurance should be chosen by consumers, and the gas company has no right to force it. After mediation, the gas company refunded the consumers’ gas insurance fees, and rectified the problem of compulsory bundling.

[Expert Comments]

Compulsory tying in the field of public services not only harms the rights and interests of many consumers, but also is suspected of violating the Anti-Monopoly Law. Gas companies engaged in business activities shall not abuse their dominant market position, force tying or attach unreasonable trading conditions to transactions. Consumers’ associations perform their duties according to law, urge operators to correct illegal acts, effectively correct unfair consumption and safeguard the interests of many consumers.

[Guidelines for Rights Protection]

Consumers have the right to fair trade according to law and have the right to refuse the compulsory trading behavior of operators. Operators shall protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, and shall not set unfair and unreasonable trading conditions or force transactions. When consumers ask for purchase vouchers or service documents such as invoices, operators must issue them. Because of its public welfare nature, the state has invested public resources in the field of public services, and operators should pay more attention to the fairness of consumption, and must not arbitrarily bundle and charge fees on the basis of state statutory fees in violation of the law, thus harming the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.

Case 3: Low-cost drainage of photo studio induces the handling of consumer loans.

[Brief introduction of the case]

In December, 2019, two college students signed up for the advertisement of Yan Yu Photography Company to experience costume photography for 19.9 yuan on a short video. After arriving at the store, I couldn’t stand the salesman’s promotion. I signed a photography order agreement of 1,100 yuan and a "supplementary agreement" of 1,588 yuan and 24,000 yuan to upgrade clothes, films and photo albums. The clerk also guided the two people to open the online loan service to borrow money for consumption. In the end, the two paid most of the expenses, leaving 5,900 yuan unpaid. During the filming and the night of departure, the two repeatedly proposed to delete photos and lower the package standard, which was rejected by the store for various reasons. In the absence of mediation, the Shanghai Consumer Protection Committee will guide the Hongkou District Consumer Protection Committee to support consumer prosecution. In February, 2021, Shanghai Hongkou Court decided to cancel the 1100 yuan order agreement and 24,000 yuan supplementary agreement signed by both parties, and the photo studio returned 18,600 yuan to consumers. The studio also promised to modify the terms of the contract format, so that customers can unconditionally cancel the contract within 24 hours after signing the contract.

[Expert Comments]

In the name of low-cost experience, merchants attract consumers to place orders by means of short videos and other promotional channels. In fact, in the process of providing services, they heavily induce consumers to increase prices and upgrade, make consumption decisions that go against their true intentions, and even induce college students to handle consumer loans beyond their ability to repay loans, which seriously damages the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. Consumers’ Association supported consumers to win the lawsuit by requesting the support of the district procuratorate and contacting the district judicial bureau to appoint public interest lawyers, which effectively safeguarded consumers’ legitimate rights and interests and promoted social fairness and justice.

[Guidelines for Rights Protection]

Operators should strictly abide by the laws and regulations, abide by business ethics, be honest and trustworthy, operate legally, and put an end to low-cost arbitrage, price increases at different levels, and restrict and mislead consumers. Microfinance companies should earnestly implement the Notice on Further Standardizing the Supervision and Management of College Students’ Internet Consumer Loans, strengthen marketing management, strictly review the pre-loan qualifications, strictly implement the second repayment source of college students, strictly control the credit qualifications of college students, and must not use deceptive, misleading or induced publicity to induce college students to apply for consumer loans. The vast number of consumers should keep a clear head about low-price sales, rationally consume according to their own consumption power, and avoid the trap of excessive consumption and high loans.

Case 4: It is difficult for a training institution to suspend business without authorization for refund.

[Brief introduction of the case]

Since May 2021, Chongqing Consumer Rights Protection Committee and Qianjiang Consumer Rights Protection Committee have successively accepted 151 consumers’ complaints that Chongqing Yunhan Art Training Co., Ltd. suddenly closed down after collecting consumer training fees and did not return the remaining training fees. On August 19th, Chongqing Consumer Protection Committee and Qianjiang District Consumer Protection Committee supported consumers to file a class action lawsuit with Qianjiang District People’s Court, and coordinated lawyers to provide litigation agency services for consumers. On November 17, the Qianjiang District People’s Court of Chongqing held a public hearing to hear the case. In the final judgment, the defendant will refund the consumer training fee within ten days from the effective date of the judgment.

[Expert Comments]

It is a prominent infringement problem in recent years that off-campus training institutions collect training fees, refuse to perform their duties and do not refund the remaining training fees. This kind of case involves a large number of consumers and has great social security risks. The two-level consumer associations actively responded and took the initiative to help consumers file class actions and achieved good results, which played an important leading role in maintaining social stability and promoting consumer fairness.

[Guidelines for Rights Protection]

Off-campus training institutions shall strictly implement the Notice on Strengthening the Supervision of Off-campus Training Institutions’ Pre-charging, and shall not charge fees for more than 3 months or 60 class hours in a lump sum or in the form of recharge or sub-card. For the training institutions, the pre-paid fees are fully included in the scope of supervision, and risk management and control are carried out through bank custody and risk margin. Strict training loan management, it is forbidden to induce installment loans to pay off-campus training fees. Consumers should pay attention to identifying the qualifications of training institutions, carefully consulting the contents of contracts, beware of consumption risks, pay attention to retaining evidence, and safeguard their rights and interests according to law.

Case 5: The case of automobile maintenance spare parts with fake parts as real ones.

[Brief introduction of the case]

In March 2021, Ms. Gui, a consumer, chose an offline repair shop for routine maintenance through an online car maintenance platform, which cost a total of 6,000 yuan. However, the front and rear four brake discs and front wheel brake pads replaced by the auto repair factory were not the original parts promised, and the 20,000-kilometer front brake disc will still be used for replacement, which is suspected of over-maintenance. After mediation by Nanjing Consumers Association, the auto repair factory apologized to the consumers and made a refund of one compensation and three compensation.

[Expert Comments]

The chaos in the field of automobile maintenance is frequent, and the key lies in the dishonesty and disobedience of some operators. Due to opaque information, consumers lack professional knowledge and consumption experience, and it is difficult to see through all kinds of routines in the automobile maintenance industry. Through the professional support of the automobile professional committee, the Consumers Association helps consumers to obtain punitive damages, effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the disadvantaged consumers.

[Guidelines for Rights Protection]

Automobile maintenance operators should earnestly improve their awareness of the rule of law, ensure the quality and quantity, keep their promises, buy and sell fairly, and provide sincere service, so as to prevent the fake from being genuine, excessive maintenance and cheating consumers. The vast number of consumers should pay attention to check the qualification of the garage before maintenance and understand the basic knowledge of automobile maintenance; When maintaining, a written contract should be signed to specify the repair items, prices, accessories and warranty period. After maintenance, it is necessary to check in time, and ask for invoices, expense lists, accessories vouchers, etc. Once it is found that the auto repairer has excessive maintenance and fraud, it is necessary to complain and report in time and protect rights according to law.

Case 6: The case of toll collection for limited-time traffic when highway cards are set up.

[Brief introduction of the case]

In September, 2021, according to the clues reflected by consumers, the Consumers Association of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region found that a cultural tourism company set up checkpoints on two highway routes, the national highway and the provincial highway, and charged the 120 yuan fee for each passing vehicle in the form of a stop deposit. If it did not pass through the road within a limited time (12 kilometers for 25 minutes and 38 kilometers for 60 minutes), the deposit would not be refunded. In response to the company’s illegal behavior, the Inner Mongolia Consumers Association, together with lawyers from the lawyers’ group and TV reporters, conducted investigation and evidence collection, held discussions with local transportation, cultural tourism and other departments, and urged the company to immediately rectify the illegal behavior and dismantle the two highways as soon as possible. In October, 2021, the company dismantled the road cards on the national and provincial roads.

[Expert Comments]

In some places, illegal card setting fees often appear, which not only increases the burden on consumers, infringes on the legitimate rights and interests of many unspecified consumers, but also restricts the choice of reasonable consumption such as eating and living along the way. The practice of time-limited traffic will also adversely affect the traffic order and driving safety of passing vehicles and, to a certain extent, destroy the impression of foreigners on the local area. Consumers’ Association urged the operators involved in litigation to rectify according to law, avoided economic losses for many consumers, cleared the "roadblock" of arbitrary charges, and achieved good social effects.

[Guidelines for Rights Protection]

Highways are protected by the state, and no unit or individual may illegally occupy them, or illegally set up checkpoints, collect fees, impose fines or intercept vehicles on highways. Operators can’t make use of infrastructure such as highways, illegally set up checkpoints to collect fees, or illegally charge extra fees and set their own punishment measures, which will undermine road traffic safety and traffic order. When consumers find such illegal acts, they should promptly complain and report them in order to effectively stop and correct them.

Case 7 Tattooing a minor without guardian’s consent

[Brief introduction of the case]

In July 2021, Ms. Lin, a consumer, accidentally discovered that her 13-year-old daughter had tattoos on her thighs and chest. There are patterns, Chinese characters and letters in these tattoos, which are all kinds, which are incompatible with their childish faces. Under questioning, I know that the child spent 700 yuan getting a tattoo in a tattoo shop. Ms. Lin refused to ask the merchant to refund the tattoo fee, so she complained to Zhenhai Branch of the Consumer Council of Licheng District, Putian City, Fujian Province. The staff of Zhenhai Branch pointed out that the operators tattooed the consumers without the consent of their legal guardians, which infringed on the physical and mental health of minors. After mediation, the merchant refunded Ms. Lin’s 700 yuan tattoo fee.

[Expert Comments]

Tattooing may hinder minors’ further education, enlistment and employment, and adversely affect minors’ rights such as health, development, protection and social participation. The 13-year-old minors are immature and belong to people with limited capacity for civil conduct. Their age, intelligence and social experience are still unable to judge the possible damage and influence of tattoos on themselves. The behavior of purchasing tattoo services is beyond their age and intelligence. It is of great significance for consumers’ associations to organize mediation according to law to standardize business operations, protect the legitimate rights and interests of minors and care for their physical and mental health.

[Guidelines for Rights Protection]

Protecting the legitimate rights and interests of minors is the common responsibility of the whole society. Business operators should fulfill their duty of care when providing commodities or services to minors. Parents, as legal guardians, should guide minors to establish a correct concept of consumption. Minors engage in consumption that is incompatible with their age and intelligence privately. Without the consent and ratification of guardians, their consumption behavior is invalid, and guardians have the right to ask operators to refund the paid price or make corresponding compensation.

Case 8 Foreign Airlines Delayed Refund Due to Force Majeure

[Brief introduction of the case]

On March 7, 2020, consumer Ms. Wang spent 2093 yuan on a domestic booking website to buy a foreign airline ticket. Due to the cancellation of the epidemic flight, Ms. Wang only received a refund of 167 yuan according to the airline refund regulations. Ms. Wang complained to the Consumers Association of Chaoyang District, Beijing after many unsuccessful communication with booking websites and airlines. After investigation, the airline introduced a refund policy on March 19, saying that those who cannot make a trip after March 19 can only change their tickets and cannot refund their tickets. Chaoyang District Consumers Association pointed out that it is not the responsibility of consumers to cancel flights due to force majeure, and consumers should not bear the risks alone. On April 15th, the airline announced that tickets booked before May 31st can be changed or exchanged for travel vouchers. If they are not changed or exchanged for travel vouchers, they can be refunded two years later. Chaoyang District Consumers Association believes that this policy still does not comply with the relevant laws of China and should continue to be rectified. In the end, the booking company and the airline, with the consent of consumers, negotiated and decided to fully refund the purchase money of consumers within two months. The airline also canceled the period of refund after two years in the refund clause and revised it to "If you can’t travel, you can still apply for a refund without handling fees".

[Expert Comments]

It is a typical unfair format clause that airlines cancel flights because of the epidemic but ask consumers to bear all the losses. When conducting business in China, foreign business operators should abide by Chinese laws and regulations, treat consumers fairly and effectively protect their legitimate rights and interests. Consumers’ Association is not afraid of difficulties, communicating with airlines and booking websites in time, effectively resolving consumer disputes, not only safeguarding consumers’ legitimate rights and interests, but also prompting foreign operators to cancel unfair format clauses, which has a good demonstration significance.

[Guidelines for Rights Protection]

If the purpose of the contract cannot be achieved due to force majeure, the consumer may terminate the contract. According to the influence of force majeure, the liability may be exempted in part or in whole. Where a business operator advocates continuing to perform or modifying or supplementing the contents of goods or services on the basis of the original agreement, it shall obtain the consent and consensus of consumers. Operators shall not make unfair and unreasonable provisions such as excluding or restricting consumers’ rights, reducing or exempting operators’ responsibilities, and aggravating consumers’ responsibilities through standard clauses. Otherwise, its content is invalid.

Case 9 Pre-sale Foot Bath Bag Annual Card is difficult to make an appointment without refund.

[Brief introduction of the case]

From March to August, 2021, Cicheng Consumer Protection Branch of Jiangbei District Consumer Protection Committee of Ningbo received 15 complaints from consumers asking for a refund from a foot bath company. Consumers claim that the company sells a 1300-yuan annual subscription card on the Internet platform, claiming that with this card, you can enjoy free foot baths in various foot bath shops in Ningbo for 365 days. When consumers actually use it, the store always refuses to make an appointment on the grounds that the quota of the day has been used up. The consumer asked for a refund, but the company refused on the grounds that the card would not be refunded once it was sold, and the final interpretation right belonged to the merchant. After receiving the complaint, Cicheng Consumer Protection Branch interviewed the person in charge of the company, pointing out its problems such as excessive card issuance, insufficient reception capacity and unfair format terms. After mediation, the company refunded 15 consumers.

[Expert Comments]

Prepaid consumption often faces difficulties in guaranteeing the quality of service, easily getting a refund when buying, too many restrictions in the "overlord clause", and operators closing stores and "running away" without authorization, which leads to the damage of consumers’ rights and interests. In this case, the Consumers Association organized timely interviews and mediation according to law, which effectively corrected the illegal acts of operators and safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of many consumers.

[Guidelines for Rights Protection]

Operators to carry out prepaid business should reasonably evaluate the number of card issuance and service ability to ensure the purchasing experience of consumers; When formulating format clauses, notices, statements and shop notices, the rights and obligations of both parties shall be agreed fairly and reasonably, and unfair and unreasonable provisions shall not be made to harm the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. When consumers make prepaid consumption, they should do what they can, keep calm and rational, and avoid one-time high recharge; Before payment, it is necessary to sign a written agreement with the operator to clarify the rights and obligations, focusing on the details of the prepaid card, such as the amount, function, scope of application, validity period, refund conditions, liability for breach of contract, etc., especially the termination of service and transfer restrictions. The verbal commitment to the merchant should be written into the agreement, and the bill should be requested in time after each consumption. Found illegal behavior, abnormal operation, timely complaints and reports.

Case 10 The jewelry store oversold the elderly consumers.

[Brief introduction of the case]

In August 2021, 60-year-old Ms. Chen was surrounded by several clerks in a jewelry store to promote jewelry while shopping in the mall. After brainwashing, consumers promised to buy jewelry with a total price of 680,000 yuan. Because she didn’t know how to operate the mobile phone, the clerk used Ms. Chen’s mobile phone to transfer 100,000 yuan to her personal account twice. The consumer asked for the bill, and the clerk said that if the consumption was less than 200,000, a receipt could not be issued. Worried that she couldn’t get the paid fees back, Ms. Chen went home to get the bank card, and under the guidance of the clerk, she paid another 100,000 yuan by credit card, and paid a total of 200,000 yuan as a jewelry deposit. There was no contract and signature confirmation in the whole transaction process. After returning home, Ms. Chen felt deeply wrong, and her request for a refund from the jewelry store was rejected, so she complained to Shilong Branch of Dongguan Consumer Council, Guangdong Province. The staff of Shilong Branch interviewed the relevant person in charge of the jewelry store and pointed out that its sales promotion behavior was suspected of deceiving and misleading the elderly who were over 60 years old, and was suspected of infringing consumers’ right to know and fair trade. After mediation, the jewelry store returned the deposit of 185,000 yuan to Ms. Chen, and the remaining deposit of 15,000 yuan was offset by the equivalent items in the store, and the unpaid deposit of 480,000 yuan was no longer pursued.

[Expert Comments]

In this case, the jewelry store clerk used the weakness of the elderly’s lack of social cognition to induce them to buy huge amounts of jewelry and charge a high deposit, and coerced the elderly to go home to withdraw money on the grounds that they could not issue a receipt for less than 200,000 yuan, which seriously infringed on the legitimate rights and interests of the elderly consumers, damaged the consumers’ right to know and fair trade, violated social morality and violated fairness and justice. Consumers’ Association organizes timely interviews with operators, properly handles consumer disputes, and effectively protects the legitimate rights and interests of elderly consumers in a weak position.

[Guidelines for Rights Protection]

Protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the elderly is the common responsibility of the whole society. Operators should abide by social morality and consciously provide special care for the elderly. It is not only against the law to make false propaganda and deceive the elderly, but also to be spurned by the society. Older consumers should pay attention to learning consumer knowledge, improve their awareness of self-prevention, not trust the verbal promises of operators, and be wary of brainwashing sales. Before buying products and receiving services, it is best to consult your children or professionals and relevant departments, and do not covet small profits or impulse consumption. If you find that your rights and interests are damaged, pay attention to retaining evidence and complain about your rights in time.

Explore the store BYD Han, the terminal has no discount, and the first two luxury versions are introduced.

After the implementation of the latest foreign brand restriction policy in Shanghai, many former foreign brand owners have set their sights on the new energy vehicle market. Among many automobile brands, BYD has always been the first choice for many consumers, especially the newly launched Han, which can be seen everywhere in Shanghai, even in the suburbs. Therefore, taking this opportunity to come to BYD 4S store, let’s take a look at why this popular car can sell so well, and finally bring you its purchase recommendation.

When I arrived at BYD 4S store in the morning, I could see a row of test cars parked there quietly next to the door, including two in BYD Han, namely Han EV (parameter picture) and Han DM. The current sales volume of this car can be seen. Oh, by the way, through this picture, the difference between the two versions, the red one without grille is EV, and the gray one with air intake grille next to it is DM, which is very simple to distinguish.

Compared with the whole BYD family, Han’s style can also be described as unique. After the slender headlights are connected with the chrome-plated decoration in the middle, they look elegant and sporty with the pressed front. However, I don’t think the gray version of the exhibition hall looks as good as red.

If you don’t talk about the body parameters, I think you can guess the level of this car by the slender size of the side. Yes, Han’s positioning is a medium and large car. Its car length has reached 4980mm, and its wheelbase has reached 2920 mm. In addition, the use of hidden door handles also conforms to the image that a pure electric vehicle should have. The ubiquitous chrome-plated material makes the car side exquisite as well.

In addition, it should be noted that the C-pillar of the ultra-long battery life version (two-wheel drive) of Han EV is different from that of the four-wheel drive high-performance version. The former is decorated with bright black, while the latter is decorated with metal, so this EV in the exhibition hall is a four-wheel drive high-performance version.

The shape of the rear also continues the simple design style of the front, and the use of penetrating taillights just fits the front face. In addition, BYD’s most signature dragon claw taillights are also reserved, but in contrast, the whole tail is more calm than the front face.

Entering the car, the interior of Han EV still continues BYD’s consistent impression of science and technology. At the same time, as a medium and large car, thanks to the use of large leather and wood grain decoration, the luxury is equally strong, which also gives this Han EV a more mature and stable impression than other models in the family.

Of course, the softer padding and the excellent shoulder support of the front seat make the seat of Han EV conform to the performance of a medium and large car.

After excluding the seats, there is no doubt about the performance of the rear space brought by the positioning of medium and large cars. In addition, an LCD control panel is provided for the rear passengers behind the central armrest, and the whole system supports the configuration of independent air conditioning in the rear, which can be said to be a combination of technology and practicality. It should be noted that Han EV also comes standard with co-pilot boss key.

As for the trunk space, the trunk space is basically the same as that of an ordinary fuel vehicle because the power batteries of the vehicle are placed below.

On the power level, the total motor power of Han EV is 163kW and 363kW respectively, the total motor torque is 330N·m and 680N·m, the battery energy is 76.9kWh, and the cruising range is 605km and 550km respectively. Among them, the acceleration time of the latter is only 3.9s seconds. As for Han DM, it is equipped with a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 141kW and a peak torque of 320 N m. The total power of the matched motor is 180kW and the total torque is 330 N m. The official acceleration time of zero hundred kilometers is only 4.7s s.

As for the preferential policy of this car, according to the sales introduction, there is no preferential policy for the whole series of Han, but there is a five-year interest-free loan policy, and the store has an existing car. In addition, because Shanghai has just launched a new policy on new energy vehicles, the most influential ones are plug-in hybrid and extended-range models. Therefore, after the release of the policy, Han DM has seen a lot of people.

Of the five models, which one is more worth buying?

BYD Han has five models to choose from, including two for DM and three for EV, so we recommend them separately.

First of all, there are two DM versions, and we recommend the entry-level model with a guide price of 219,800 yuan, which is the luxury model with four-wheel drive performance. In terms of configuration, compared with the four-wheel drive performance version with a guide price of 239,800 yuan, the latter only has more configurations and functions such as leather seats, 4-way height adjustment of the main driver’s seat, 2-way height /4-way waist support of the auxiliary driver’s seat, heating/ventilation of the auxiliary driver’s seat, 11-horn speakers, multi-color interior atmosphere lights, memory/reversing automatic rollover of the external rearview mirror, automatic anti-glare of the internal rearview mirror and independent air conditioning in the rear row. Although the above configuration is worth the price difference, because the configuration of DM itself is high enough, the above additional configuration can not better improve the experience. In the mechanical part, both DM versions are the same. So there is no doubt that DM’s four-wheel drive performance version is a better choice.

Followed by three EV versions, if you like high performance, then directly choose the four-wheel drive high-performance version of the flagship with a guide price of 279,500 yuan. If you have higher requirements for battery life, then choose two long battery life versions. As for these two models, we recommend the entry-level version of EV, that is, the ultra-long endurance luxury model with a guide price of 229,800 yuan. Compared with the super-long endurance version with the guide price of 255,800 yuan, the latter has more parallel assistance, reversing car side early warning system, automatic parking, leather seat, 4-way height adjustment of the main driver’s seat, 2-way height /4-way waist support of the auxiliary driver’s seat, heating/ventilation of the auxiliary driver’s seat, electric seat memory of the driver’s seat, 220V/230V power supply and 11 speakers. Their configuration differences are similar to those of the two DM versions, so the entry version is still the most worth buying.

Write it at the end

To say how hot BYD is, I think the scene where the exhibition hall is full of consumers in the afternoon can prove everything, and the Han series is the representative of it. Super-high face value, spacious space, and full of scientific and technological interior and configuration. Of course, more importantly, it also has DM and EV for consumers with different needs to choose from. It is no wonder that it can be seen everywhere in Shanghai at present.

Today’s Lantern Festival wishes you: the Lantern Festival is happy, the moon and the man are round, and you are lucky and symbiotic!

Today is the fifteenth day of the first month of Renyin Year, Lantern Festival. Because the first month is the first month of the lunar calendar, the ancients called "night" "night", and today is also the first full moon night of the year, hence the name Lantern Festival. Lantern Festival, also known as Shangyuan Festival, Yuanxi Festival or Lantern Festival, is the last important festival in China Spring Festival. Lantern Festival, from ancient times to the present, is embodied in the word "noisy". Ancient emperors’ Lantern Festival of "having fun with the people" has gone from 10,000 lanterns, burning lamps and setting off flames, enjoying solve riddles on the lanterns, having Lantern Festival together, family reunion and celebrating the festival together. As the old saying goes, after the Lantern Festival, the year is over. The Lantern Festival is certainly lively, and peace and health are the greatest happiness. It is even more special and unforgettable when the Beijing Winter Olympics is still in full swing and the epidemic situation is accurately prevented and controlled. Yesterday’s Shencheng coincided with the arrival of Chun Xue. It was covered with snow and white, adding a strong color to the scenery of the northland in early spring. There are still three days, and the rainy solar term will be ushered in. The east wind thaws, and the snow melts into rain. Spring rain moistens everything. It is about to present a scene of "the rain in the sky is as crisp as crisp, and the grass color is near but not", which also contains people’s expectations for a better life. The lights are shining, and the reunion is at this time. In fact, no matter the ends of the earth, it is still close at hand. As long as we have each other in our hearts, a simple holiday greeting will give us a sense of ritual. "A song is like the sea in spring, and a thousand lights are like the night." At this moment when the bright moon is in the sky and the full moon is full, I wish you: Happy Lantern Festival, full moon and auspicious symbiosis! (Chang Yongfu)
